Floor Tom Rattle

We have sm57 s on all the toms and the snare.

Floor tom rattle.

Due to a cramped space i have always had to have my 18 on my left side next to the the snare. 3 of the 57 s came in a drum mic kit with a beta52. Is my floor tom not tuned right on my drums. If this is your first visit be sure to check out the faq by clicking the link above.

I just setup my vad503 and it s great. You may have to register before you can post. And one to go between my two floor toms. Not a buzzing but it s really odd.

The plastic piece on top is really really lose and rattles after tom hits. You also get a set of studio quiet insulated bass drum claws that ll let you plumb the depths of subsonic assaults without drowning in rattle or damaging your hoops. I will definitely buy a couple more one to go between my mounted toms to keep the occasional rattle away i keep them really close.

As i understand both the snare and 14 tom have the same 3 ply heads. However the 14 floor tom has an odd rattle from the head when played. It totally makes a rattling noise and i hate it.
